Terms of use
Effective 10 October 2026. Last updated 10 October 2026.
These terms apply to Stroll India at stroll.theoriginlabs.dev, made by The Origin Labs ("we"). By using the app you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use it.
The service
Stroll India is a free, calm 3D game for personal, non-commercial enjoyment. You pick a walker and a real place, and the walker strolls there in real time. No account is needed.
A game, not a map
Cities in the app are stylised. Real places are shown in their approximate direction from one another, not to scale, and the streets, buildings, traffic, signals, moments and sightings are made up for play. Don't use the app for navigation, travel planning, opening hours, safety or any real-world decision. Place descriptions and Wikipedia summaries are provided for interest and may be incomplete or out of date.
We are not affiliated with, endorsed by or speaking for any place, temple, mosque, church, government body, transport operator or business shown in the app. Bus, auto and taxi colours are generic.
Progress and in-game items
XP, levels, build points, rail passes, freezes, badges, stamps, plots and everything you build are game features with no monetary value. They can't be bought, sold, transferred or exchanged for anything. They are stored only in your browser, so they can be lost if you clear its data or switch device; use Settings → Export backup to keep a copy. We may rebalance prices, rewards and features as the game develops.
What you put in
You're responsible for the names you give walkers and for anything you share, such as share cards and blueprint codes. Please keep shared content respectful and lawful.
Fair use
Please don't attack, overload or disrupt the service; don't try to bypass its security; don't scrape it at scale; and don't use it, or anything made with it, to mislead people.
Ownership
The app's code, artwork, sounds and writing belong to The Origin Labs. Open-source components and content we use belong to their authors and are used under their licences, listed on the credits page. Wikipedia text is available under CC BY-SA 4.0. Place names are public facts, and trademarks mentioned (such as WhatsApp, X, LinkedIn and Facebook) belong to their owners.
Third-party services
The app links to and loads content from third parties such as Wikipedia, and lets you share to social apps. Their terms and policies apply to your use of them, and we aren't responsible for their content or availability.
Availability and changes
We may change, pause or stop any part of the app at any time. We'll try to keep your saved progress loading in new versions, but we can't guarantee it.
No warranty and limits of liability
The app is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent the law allows. To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of data or progress, arising from your use of the app. Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have, or any liability we have, that cannot be limited by law.
Law
These terms are governed by the laws of India.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version, and continuing to use the app after a change means you accept it.
